Private Cabin

This exterior wall was painted for a client's beautiful cabin in the woods on a private peninsula in Nicolet National Forest, WI. It was a dream to wake up in such a peaceful place surrounded by gobs of nature everyday while working here. I collaged together pieces of my sketches from wildlife to inspire the movement and shapes of the design: crystal clear waters, lush ferns, trails, loons on the lake, huge pines, lily pads, the sunrise and stars.
